One person dies following a fiery accident

West Houston – Houston police say one person is dead following a car crash at Fondren and Westpark Tollway.

According to investigators, the road accident occurred on Sunday around 4:00 a.m.

Houston police said the driver of the vehicle died at the scene and the passenger was taken to the hospital.

Officers said the investigation is ongoing.
