18-year-old dead after shooting

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – An 18-year-old man is dead as a result of a shooting that took place on Friday, September 20.

According to authorities, the Richmond County Coroner’s Office responded to Wellstar/MCG on Friday, September 27 in reference to a shooting death that occurred at 1300 Druid Park.

The coroner’s office identified the shooting victim as 18-year-old Jean Paul Magala, who was shot at least once and transported by ambulance to Wellstar/MCG.

Magala was pronounced dead on September 27, according to the coroner’s office.

An autopsy was scheduled.
