A teenager was killed in a crash on the Creek Turnpike

JENKS, Okla. — The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a teenager was killed just before noon on Sept. 28 on the Creek Turnpike.

Troopers said the crash happened just east of Highway 75. Two cars were involved.

One of the vehicles, a Honda motorcycle, was driven by a 16-year-old boy. Emergency services arrived at the scene and found the teenager dead.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 17-year-old girl, was not injured.

The accident is under investigation.
