Dog whisperer Cesar Millan says Jada Pinkett Smith helped launch his career in a new video

Dog whisperer Cesar Millan says Jada Pinkett Smith helped launch his career in a new video

Cesar Millan is a famous dog trainer from Mexico who made the life-changing decision to move to the United States in 1990. Over the years, Millan’s love of dog training propelled his career into show business as he worked with stars such as Oprah Winfrey, Jennifer Lopez and Tom Brady.

However, Millan claims that none of this would have happened without the help of his longtime friend Jada Pinkett Smith.

During a June visit to “The Adam Carolla Show,” he explained how Pinkett Smith helped change his life.

In the re-posted video, Millan said: “I went to return a Rottweiler named Kenji and Jada was at the party. And you know, when she saw me at the demonstration, she said, “You know, when I get a dog, I want you to train my dog.” So she took the dog. A few months later, she became engaged to Will.

Will Smith proposed to her in 1997. Since both newly engaged couples worked in the industry, Millan jumped at his chance. He told the hosts: “So I say I would like to have my own TV or radio show because I want to teach people. People come to South Central and want to learn from me, but then she said, “Well, you have to speak English for that.” So she paid a teacher to teach me English for a year.

He told Millan that Carolla had met celebrities in his previous job as a carpenter.

He said: “When I worked for some celebrities, they had a bit of a celebrity culture. They want good people they can trust. So did Jada Pinkett introduce you to this world?

Will and Jada got married a month after their engagement. Millan explained that he had the opportunity to meet the other stars the year before when Will shot the 1996 movie “Independence Day.” Millan said that after the film’s release, he was able to connect with others in the film industry, such as “Bad Boys” director Michael Bay, “Fast and Furious” star Vin Diesel and “National Treasure” Nicholas Cage.

Another host of the show was curious about how the process works when Millan starts training celebrity dogs. He asked Millan, “Are you staying at their house or?”

Millan quickly replied, “No, no, no, I’ll take them with me. This is how I became famous as a Mexican who walks a pack of dogs. I walked 40 dogs with me everywhere.

Since meeting the “Set It Off” actress, Millan has been able to fulfill his dream of having his own show. For nine seasons, his “Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan” was broadcast on the National Geographic channel. Since starting in 2004, he has also had several other appearances.

However, years later, he was involved in a lawsuit that named Jada’s co-star Queen Latifah.

One person asked, “Isn’t he the one who killed Queen Latifah’s dog and she sued him?” Another added: “What happened, dog whisperer tragedy?” “The Tragedy of the Dog Whisperer” refers to incidents in which Millan’s pit bull allegedly attacked a gymnast and killed Queen Latifah’s dog, heightening criticism of his training methods.

In 2021, gymnast Lidia Matiss filed a lawsuit against Millan, claiming that his dog Junior attacked her when she visited her mother’s office building four years earlier. Her mother worked for a dog whisperer at the time, and Matiss claims that during one visit, his off-leash pit bull, Junior, was bitten multiple times on her legs.

Millan’s representative later described Matiss’ recollection of the alleged attack as a “blatant lie”, claiming she returned to the property at a later date. She claimed that due to serious injuries, she could no longer compete at the highest level in the USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic programs after being hired by the University of Pennsylvania.

In her complaint, she also alleged that Millan’s dog attacked and killed Latifah’s dog and that he tried to cover it up. Millan’s dog died in 2021 while the case was pending. However, they avoided trial in 2022 by reaching a settlement. The terms of this deal were not disclosed.

Now he is participating in the 5th season of his show “Cesar Millan: Better Human Better Dog”, which premiered on August 16.
