You can win a limited-edition Apple Watch fitness reward today – here’s how

While it’s not International Yoga Day — after all, that only falls once a year, on June 21, 2024 — August 25, 2024, is a day Apple Watch exercise enthusiasts should rejoice over.

Why? You can earn a limited-edition reward for completing a workout, and all types are eligible as long as it lasts 20 minutes. The occasion is celebrating natural parks at home or visiting one in the United States. It could be a relaxing meditation or yoga workout on a hill, a hike, or even kayaking. Similarly, it could be a HIIT workout at home.

As Apple celebrates the 108th anniversary of National Parks in the United States and is a long-time partner, anyone wearing an Apple Watch around the world can complete a 20-minute workout today to earn a limited-edition reward, plus unlock exclusive iMessage stickers celebrating the parks.

The included stickers are really cool, including someone paddling a kayak through the water, a beautiful bee pollinating flowers, and even an animated version of the limited-edition reward. To earn it, simply complete a workout of at least 20 minutes today, August 25, 2024.

To do this, on your Apple Watch, open the Workouts app – you can press the Digital Crown to find it, press the action button on your Apple Watch Ultra if you’ve set it up, or even ask Siri to open Workouts. You can choose from a long list of workout types and you’re ready to go.

Once you’ve finished your workout, along with your stats – think heart rate and calories burned – you’ll see a reward with a fun animation. It’s that simple, and a set of stickers will also be unlocked for you to use.

In addition to this workout reward, all purchases made on Apple.com in the United States or in an Apple Store in the Americas using Apple Pay through the end of the day on August 25, 2024, will result in Apple making a $10 donation to the National Park Foundation. Additionally, as part of iOS 18 and watchOS 10 this fall (September through November 2024), Apple Maps will expand details about hiking trails in national parks across the United States.

If you’re already running the iOS 18 public beta, you can try it out now and read all about the secret feature here .
