2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS Package for sale at BaT Auctions – ending August 30 (Lot #160,648)

This 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS was purchased new by its owner and ordered with the Tribute to Carrera RS option for $20,000, in addition to the Weissach package, which reduces weight by using a carbon composite roof panel, front hood, stabilizer bars, and interior trim. Finished in white with green graphics over black leather and Race-Tex upholstery, it’s powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine that drives the rear wheels through a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox with an electronically locking differential. The car is additionally equipped with a carbon fiber roof, front axle lift system, ceramic composite brakes, LED-Matrix Design headlights with PDLS+, swan-neck rear wing with DRS, rear axle steering, Python Green 20″ and 21″ forged lightweight magnesium wheels, full forged carbon fiber bucket seats, ambient lighting, Bose sound system, Porsche Communication Management. This 992 GT3 RS Tribute to Carrera RS edition has 28 miles on the clock and is now offered in California as part of a dealership consignment with a window sticker, a $25,000 Tribute to Carrera RS accessory package, owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a Carfax report and a clean Oregon title.

The GT3 RS features lightweight glass, vented front fenders and carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) front trunk lid, roof panel and rear wing with swan neck hinges with drag reduction function (DRS). The CFRP panels are finished with an exposed carbon fiber weave on cars equipped with the Weissach package.

The Tribute to Carrera RS package pays homage to the 1973 911 Carrera RS 2.7 with Python Green wheels, mirror caps, GT3 RS side graphics, rear badges and rear wing accents. This example is finished in white and features LED-Matrix Design headlights with PDLS+, rear fog light, reversing camera, rear parking sensors, Exclusive Design taillights and dual central exhaust outlets.

Python Green 20″ and 21″ forged lightweight magnesium wheels with center lock are mounted on variable width Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. Stopping power is provided by Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) with drilled and ventilated discs at each corner. The car is equipped with a front axle lift system, rear axle steering and the Weissach package, which added front and rear carbon fiber stabilizers and coupling rods.

The carbon fibre bucket seats are finished in black leather with Race-Tex inserts, “Weissach RS” embroidery on the headrests and Tribute to Carrera RS tailoring with Python Green stitching that extends to the dashboard, centre console, knee pads and door panels. Carbon fibre trim adorns the cabin, as well as illuminated door sill guards, while the floor mats are protected by Porsche logo mats with leather edges and offset stitching. Further equipment includes the Porsche Communication Management infotainment system with navigation, as well as a Bose surround sound system, dual-zone automatic air conditioning, cruise control, an ambient lighting system and auto-dimming mirrors.

The front luggage rack bears the signature of Andreas Preuninger.

The GT3 sports steering wheel has paddle shifters and vehicle configuration knobs, as well as a central tachometer with a 9,000-rpm redline, a digital speed readout and two adjustable TFT screens. A stopwatch is mounted on the dashboard. The digital odometer shows 28 miles.

The 4.0-liter flat-six engine has direct fuel injection, VarioCam variable valve timing, dry sump lubrication, and separate throttle bodies. Engine output was 518 horsepower and 342 lb-ft of torque. The recalls for the oil filler cap, airbag controller, amplifier, shift paddles, owner’s manual, and oil sticker were resolved in July 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels via a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox and an electronically locking differential. A stainless steel sports exhaust system was fitted as standard, and the car was optionally equipped with an extended-range fuel tank.

Every 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS ordered with the Tribute to Carrera RS package was accompanied by a collection of accessories, including:
