No students on board during school bus crash

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. (WEAU) – There were no students on board a Chippewa Falls Area Unified School District bus involved in a traffic accident Friday morning.

According to a CFAUSD press release, a school bus was involved in a crash between the primary and secondary routes. The investigation is ongoing.

The press release said in part: “The safety of our students is our top priority. We are grateful that no students were involved in this incident and we will continue to maintain our high standards of transportation safety.”

WEAU reached out to the district to ask where the crash occurred and if anyone was injured in the incident. The district referred us to the bus company for more information. The bus company said it had “no comment.”
