Glasgow Airport: 999 crews rushed to scene of air incident

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said it was called to reports of an “incident” involving an aircraft at the venue, which happened at around 1.30pm on Friday, July 19.

A total of four fire trucks arrived at the scene.

It is currently unclear what caused the incident, but no one was injured.

A spokesman for the SFRS said: “On Friday 19 July at 13:32 we received a report of an incident involving an aircraft at Glasgow Airport in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

“Operational Control mobilised three fire engines and specialist resources to the scene to assist partners.

“No casualties reported.”

Glasgow Airport has been contacted for comment.
