64-YEAR-OLD MAN DIED IN ACCIDENT IN USA 70 – 3B Media News

Yesterday there was a two-vehicle accident that resulted in the death of William Ford, 64.

According to a Tennessee Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier owned by Ford was traveling east on U.S. 70 when it stopped to turn onto Dorton Access Rd.

The vehicle behind the Ford, a 2013 Caterpillar 1HT dump truck, was unable to stop in time and struck the rear of the Ford. The dump truck partially passed over the rear of the Ford, and his car was pushed until both cars came to a stop in the eastbound lane.

The driver of the dump truck was not injured, but the passenger of the Ford was injured.
