CLEVES, Ohio — A man has been charged with aggravated murder in the shooting death of a 33-year-old man in Cleves in early September, according to court documents.

Court records show 40-year-old David Vanover is charged with shooting Joseph Ian Gladwell on Sept. 15.

The shooting happened in the 5900 block of East Miami River Road in Cleves around 2:57 p.m. that day, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies were called to the scene after receiving reports of shots fired.
