Shower chances return Friday & early next week

Friday PM & Late Sunday into Monday
Friday PM & Late Sunday into Monday

THURSDAY: Rinse and repeat weather lingers. Chance of a few pockets of fog during the morning hours. A few extra clouds around. Highs in the upper 80s. Low 58F. Wind E at 5 to 10 mph.

FRIDAY: A hot day with a mix of sun and clouds. Isolated pop-up showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening hours. A few storms may contain brief gusty wind and small hail. Any shower or storm ends by sunset. Limited impacts to high school football games as coverage will be very spotty for any thunderstorm. If you see lightning or hear thunder head indoors!

SATURDAY: A hot day with a few passing clouds. High near 90F. Wind NW at 5 to 10 mph.

SUNDAY: Increasing clouds with a chance of afternoon and evening scattered showers and thunderstorms. This will not be a drought buster, but we will take whatever rain we can get at this point. High 82F. Wind SSW at 5 to 10 mph.

LOOKING AHEAD: Burn bans are in place in some areas, DO NOT start fires outside – they can expand very quickly in these conditions. Our greatest chance for rain will move in throughout the second half of Sunday and early next week. This is nothing to cure our lack of rainfall, but we certainly will take even a few sips of water at this point. Several daytime highs in the 70s next week!
