Dashani Broomfield in crash on Highway 2 in Airway Heights

WSP reported that a 2006 Ford Expedition was traveling west on Highway 2 when it attempted to turn left onto Brooks Road and was struck by an eastbound motorcycle driven by Brooks.

Airway Heights, WA.- Dashani M. Broomfield, 21, of Stevens County, died in a crash Tuesday evening near Airway Heights, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The crash occurred on Highway 2, near Brooks Road, around 11:30 p.m. on September 17.

WSP reported that a 2006 Ford Expedition was traveling west on Highway 2 when it attempted to turn left onto Brooks Road and was struck by an eastbound motorcycle driven by Brooks.

Brooks died in the collision.

No other injuries were reported in the incident.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
