Hot weather to end the summer season

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Temperatures will be warm this last week of summer. Little to no rain is in the forecast.

UNTIL MORNING:

It will be mostly clear at night. Low, 62.

TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY:

Additional clouds are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, especially along and east of I-65, as the tropical system moves into North and South Carolina.

Tuesday and/or Wednesday, the Cumberland Plateau will see a chance of showers or even a few light rain showers, remnants of the tropical wave. Other than a few clouds, no other impacts are expected in our area.

SUN AT THE END OF THE WEEK:

Full sun will return across the midstate on Thursday and Friday, with temperatures expected to hover around 90°.

THIS WEEKEND:

The fall season starts Sunday at 7:43 a.m. You won’t feel it.

Both Saturday and Sunday will be very warm to hot, with highs around 90°F and lows around 60°F.

NEXT WEEK:

Partly cloudy, warm next week as well. Monday’s high will be in the 90s.

Scattered showers are expected at the beginning of next week, but the weather is likely to remain dry until the end of the month.
