The high school dance team made it to the quarterfinals of “America’s Got Talent” in August. AGT did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

Even though the dance team didn’t make it to the final, judge Simon Cowell gave the young dancers some words of encouragement.

“It was absolutely brilliant,” Cowell said. “What I liked about it was the energy. I think what I saw was everything a great school should do, which is encourage talent and friendship.”

He continued: “It reminded me of watching High School Musical film and I thought that every child should go to a school like that.”

Shortly after her appearance on the competition show, Gold opened up to People magazine about her experiences.

“When I’m performing, I really think about all the corrections because we get corrections up to five minutes before we go on stage. So really just thinking about all of them to apply them is my biggest priority on stage,” she said in August.
