Georgia man dies, two injured in two-vehicle crash in north Alabama

A Georgia man was killed Monday in a two-vehicle crash in Scottsboro that injured two other people.

According to Scottsboro police, the incident occurred at the intersection of US 72 and a Walmart store.

Scottsboro Police, Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Scottsboro Fire Department and Highlands Ambulance located three people in the crash.

Two people were taken to Highlands Medical Center, one was treated for minor injuries.

Steve Combs, 68, of Trenton, Georgia, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

This accident is still under investigation.
