Woman ‘attacked and robbed by masked man’ in Basildon Hospital car park

Essex Police are investigating after a woman was allegedly assaulted and robbed in the car park of an Essex hospital. Officers were called to reports of an assault and robbery at Basildon Hospital in the early hours of Monday morning (July 15).

Officers say the suspect was a man wearing a black balaclava, gloves and dark clothing, including navy blue jogging bottoms. The incident was reported to have happened at around 6:40am and the suspect left the area on foot.




The victim is said to have honked his horn multiple times during the attack. It is believed there may have been several people in the area at the time of the incident.
