Chicago man hijacked 68-year-old victim’s car in Humboldt Park: police

CHICAGO – This week, a Chicago man was charged with stealing a car from Humboldt Park.

David Etheridge, 41, could be charged with one felony count of vehicular hijacking, police said.

On Sunday, Etheridge allegedly carjacked a 68-year-old man in the 3700 block of West Chicago.

Police arrested Etheridge on Monday at 500 North Pulaski Road and charged him with appropriate charges.

His detention hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
