Traffic on I-64 East was backed up in the construction zone

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) – We received our first traffic alert Tuesday afternoon for drivers on Interstate 64 East near the 29th Street exit, Cabell County 911 dispatchers say.

The incident occurred before 4 p.m. at the construction site. Dispatchers say the cause is the stranded driver.

No injuries were reported.
